Getting To The Root Cause Of Your Thyroid Condition

Roots & pots.png

In my functional medicine practice, the number one thing that I see with patients is a thyroid condition. Many of these patients are frustrated. They feel there is something wrong with their thyroid, but their doctor is telling them their lab work is normal, there is nothing wrong, or to wait and see if things progress.

When patients come to me, I see three likely scenarios. The first being TSH levels are normal, but the patient still feels horrible. They are gaining weight, losing their hair, not sleeping well, have low libido, and feel tired and irritable. The second scenario is that the TSH level is high, but the T4 is normal. In this case, most doctors will take the wait and see approach. Lastly, I see patients that have a high TSH level and a low T4 level. The next step taken is putting them on Synthroid. The problem with Synthroid is that it may alleviate the symptoms for a little bit, but it's not going to necessarily fix the problem.

Since there are many reasons you might have a thyroid condition, it’s important to work with someone who understands and can get to the root cause of the condition. Perhaps you have an autoimmune disease like Hashimoto’s or Graves, maybe there is an issue with your adrenals, or you could have a hormonal imbalance. Working with someone who is experienced and who has been through what you are going through can make all the difference.

I’m here to help you and share my experience with you. I've been on this journey myself for about 17 years.

Through my research, I’ve not only been able to help myself, but others get to the cause of their condition so that their thyroid or immune system can heal. If you can relate to this, there’s no time to wait. It will only get worse over time. Please contact me today to schedule a call – https://bit.ly/2BC1ZXX.

I will meet you where you're at and help you throughout your healing journey. You can get there and I'm here to help you!
